Introduction
We respect your privacy and your personal information. For this reason, we have
prepared this privacy policy to let you know how we will treat any personal
information that we may have about you. We will take all reasonable measures,
in accordance with this privacy policy, to protect your personal information
and to keep it confidential, even if you should no longer be a WebVault
customer.
We also voluntarily subscribe to the principles, outlined in Section 51 of the
Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 2002 ("ECT Act"), which govern
your right to having your personal information kept private. Please refer to
Section 51 of the ECT Act online for the detailed list of principles. We
briefly outline these principles below:
We will only collect and use your personal information with your express
written permission (unless legally required to do so), and will only use such
information for the lawful purpose for which it is required. We will delete or
destroy your personal information once it has become obsolete.
We will disclose in writing, the specific purpose for which we have collected
and used your personal information and will keep records of the purpose for
which it was collected.
We will not disclose any of your personal information to any affiliate party
(which includes; our subsidiaries, our shareholders and other business
partners) unless:

What is Personal
Information?
Personal information refers to any and all information that has been provided
by you during the registration process and subsequently updated by you, either
directly via the WebVault website or at your request via fax, phone or any
other means. Any information which you provide to us, whether on any forms you
complete or through the use of any of our services or facilities or those of
our affiliates, will be regarded by us as personal information.
In short, any information that we know about you will be regarded as your
personal information.
Your privacy is important to us. We will therefore not sell, rent or provide
your personal information to unauthorised entities or other third parties for
their independent use without your consent.
Only employees who need information to perform certain tasks such as billing
and resolving disputes have access to that information.
We will always ask for your permission before we use your personal information
for any purpose not disclosed above.
Protection of your
Personal Information
The information we maintain concerning our customers is stored in databases
that have built-in safeguards to ensure the privacy and confidentiality of that
information.
You must always keep your PIN a secret and ensure that you do not disclose it
to anyone.

If you disclose any personal information to any affiliate party, you must be
aware that we do not regulate or control how that affiliate party uses your
personal information. You should always ensure that you read the privacy policy
of any affiliate party.
We are not responsible for any representations or information or warranties or
content on any website of any affiliate party (including websites linked to the
WebVault). We do not exercise control over affiliate parties' privacy policies
and you should refer to the privacy policy of any affiliate party to see how
such party protects your privacy.
Cookies
We use cookies. In case you were wondering, we use the word "cookie" to refer
to information that is sent from the WebVault website to your hard drive, where
it is saved. In this way, the next time you use WebVault we will know who you
are and that you have visited the WebVault website before.
Changes to this
privacy policy
We are entitled to vary and update this privacy policy from time to time and at
our sole discretion. Each time you use WebVault, the current version of the
privacy policy will apply. WebVault will, via the website, indicate that the
privacy policy has been updated. You must familiarise yourself with the updated
privacy policy.
